Job Description - Technical Customer Service Advisor

Technical Customer Service Advisor | Temporary | £12.21 per hour | Derby DE21
Monday to Friday 9-5pm with an hour for lunch
Possibility of temp to perm for the right person

Cherry Professional are seeking to appoint an experienced and talented Customer Service Advisor to join a thriving team based in the DE21 area of Derby. As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for the businesses valued clients, providing exceptional support via phone, email, and live chat. Whether it’s answering a question or resolving an issue, you’ll help ensure customers feel supported, informed, and empowered every step of the way!

What we're looking for:

A passion for customer service and helping people
Great communication skills – both written and verbal
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude
Strong IT literacy and a tech-friendly approach
Organised, self-motivated, and commercially aware

The finer elements of the role include:

Deliver friendly and professional support through multiple channels
Own and resolve customer queries within SLA timeframes
Keep communication clear, timely, and informative
Provide coaching and guidance to help users get the most from our platforms
Collaborate with internal teams to find the best solutions
Stay up-to-date on our products to offer accurate and effective support
Contribute to training materials and self-development initiatives
