Lloyd Recruitment Services is partnering with a well-established business in the home fragrance sector to offer a unique and exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager to join their team in China. This is an incredible opportunity to work with a leading, award-winning company that supplies major retailers such as TK Maxx, Tesco, Next, and Aldi.

The role will focus on streamlining operations at the company's factory in China, making it an ideal opportunity for candidates who have extensive experience working with major retailers and Far East suppliers, ideally in China.

About the Role:

As a Technical Manager, you'll be based in China, working closely with local teams to streamline operations and ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence. Your role will be vital in overseeing production processes, conducting audits, and providing hands-on training to the local workforce.

• Salary £60,000 - £80,000 (pro rata for 6 month) - negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare for and support regular factory technical audits to maintain high production standards
• Ensure adherence to ethical audit requirements within the factory
• Manage and implement QA/compliance regulations to meet international standards
• Oversee and manage all testing requirements to ensure product quality and safety
• Provide day-to-day training and support to the local team in China

What We're Looking For:

• Travel experience to Far East suppliers, ideally in China
• Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills
• Proven experience working for major high-street retailers and supermarkets (ideally in home fragrance or beauty)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and develop local teams
• Hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills

Additional Details:

The position is based in China for 6 months, with flights and accommodation provided.

Full training and support will be provided at the company's Surrey head office prior to departure
