Technical Support Officer

Hourly rate: £14.84

Location: Crossgate House Redditch B98 7SN- office based

Contract: 3 months with review for extension

Working hours: Monday-Friday 9 to 5

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Redditch Borough Council for a Technical Support Officer to provide technical, administrative and database support to the Housing Property Service teams, including, Electrical Services and Capital and Contracts, Gas Services, Health & Safety and Compliance.

Main responsibilities:

• Data inputting, investigation and cleansing
• Answer telephone calls and logging information
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and contractors
• Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing correspondance
• Assist the housing property team with service delivery and projects

The successful candidate will be proficient in IT programmes. Previous knowledge of facilities management or construction is advantageous.
