Technical Systems Data Analyst

A tier 1 Investment Bank in Central London is building a new data platform to strengthen Risk and ESG reporting. It will suits a senior Technical Systems Analyst who can move confidently between architecture, data design, and hands‑on analysis, while keeping diverse stakeholders aligned.

The role will provide hybrid working opportunities, and will last for an initial 9 months (with a strong opportunity of extension).

Applicants must have extensive experience in the banking sector.

1. Define and translate business, regulatory and architectural needs into clear technical requirements.
2. Support ESG reporting solution design, data modelling, lineage, and metadata structures.
3. Work with Risk, Compliance, Sustainability, Data Governance and IT to align scope and delivery.
4. Contribute to database design, integration patterns, data‑flow mapping and non‑functional requirements.
5. Oversee configuration, testing and deployment with internal teams and vendors.

1. Thorough experience in business/systems analysis within banking
2. Strong data‑modelling, database‑design and technical‑requirements expertise.
3. Experience across integration design, data profiling/validation and Agile delivery.
4. Confident stakeholder management skillset across business and technology.
5. Familiarity with BCBS239 frameworks and ESG
