Interim Accounts Assistant - Telecommunications Sector
Location: Buntingford (Temporary)

Interim Accounts Assistant position supporting the Central Finance team of this great Buntingford based Telecommunications company. The long term temporary role is till at least 2026 with a key focus on purchase ledger, sales ledger, and assisting management accounts. Opportunity to work within the telecommunications sector.

• Support month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, and management accounts.
• Process supplier invoices in Xero, ensuring accurate GL coding and approvals.
• Handle AP/SL queries, supplier reconciliations, and customer debt chasing.
• Assist with payment runs, bank reconciliations, and VAT return preparation.
• Collaborate on finance-related projects across the business portfolio.

• AAT qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in AP, AR, or assistant management accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Xero is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

• Temporary role with potential for extension or permanent opportunities.
