Temporary Attendance Officer

We currently have an urgent requirement for an Attendance Officer to work in an amazing secondary school in North London.

If you’re an organised, detail-oriented individual with experience in SIMS and a passion for supporting young people with attendance experience we would like to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily student attendance and maintain accurate records using SIMS.
• Follow up on student absences through phone calls, emails, and letters.
• Work closely with pastoral staff and external agencies to improve attendance.
• Provide regular attendance reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Support school safeguarding procedures and maintain confidentiality at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• Immediately Available.

• Proven experience using SIMS (School Information Management System).
• Strong administrative and communication skills.
• A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working in a Secondary school setting.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must have Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Full UK right to work.
