Job Description - Temporary Corporate Receptionist

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Corporate Receptionist to join our client on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming environment for all visitors and ensuring smooth reception operations.

Location: West End
Department: Reception Services
Contract Type: Temporary
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Full Time

Hours range between 7am - 7pm on a shift basis at 37.5 hours a week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet & Greet: Welcome all visitors with a warm and friendly demeanour, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Communication Management: Handle incoming calls and emails efficiently, directing inquiries to the appropriate parties.
  • Booking Software Proficiency: utilise client booking software to manage appointments and maintain scheduling accuracy.
  • Meeting Room Support: Assist with the setup of meeting rooms, greet attendees, and host them during their visits.
  • IT Support Communication: Raise tickets via the IT Helpdesk platform for any technical issues encountered.
  • Security Management: Ensure effective access pass management to uphold security protocols.
  • Housekeeping Coordination: Collaborate with the housekeeping team for efficient meeting room changeovers.
  • Professional Presentation: Exhibit good personal presentation that aligns with our brand standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a corporate concierge or reception role is essential.
  • Highly refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to excellence.
  • Reliable timekeeping and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Professional integrity and trustworthiness.
  • Eligible for a DBS check.
