Temporary Credit Controller

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Location: Colchester (Own transport required)
Pay: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract Length: 3 monthsOur client, a reputable supplier to the building industry, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a full-time, office-based role in Colchester; access to your own transport is essential due to the location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of approximately 200 client accounts
• Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email
• Setting and reviewing customer credit limits
• Monitoring and managing the credit control inbox
• Resolving queries and maintaining accurate records
• Liaising with internal teams and external clients

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Netsuite, would be an added bonus but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
