Job Description - Temporary Facilities Assistant

Job Title: Facilities Assistant
Location: Central London (Corporate Client Site)

Job Type: Full-time, Office-Based | 9:00am - 6:00pm
Duration: 4-week Temporary Contract (Immediate Start)
Salary: £17 per hour

About the Role:
My client is looking for a proactive and organised Facilities Assistant to support a corporate client based in the heart of Central London. Our client is a prestigious global investment company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Facilities experience to join a professional, fast-paced environment on a short-term basis. You must be available for 4 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Maintenance: Assist in coordinating repairs, inspections, and general upkeep of the office premises
  • Health & Safety: Support regular safety checks and maintain up-to-date compliance records
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Administrative Support: Keep documentation organised, assist with budget tracking, and manage office supplies
  • Workplace Operations: Help manage room bookings, desk allocations, and meeting/event setup
  • Emergency Support: Act as a point of contact for any facilities-related issues, escalating where necessary
  • Sustainability: Support any ongoing environmental and energy-efficiency initiatives

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • RAMS
  • CAFM Systems
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Able to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general administrative systems
  • Previous experience in a facilities, office support, or administrative role preferred
  • Positive, proactive approach with a team-focused attitude
