Temporary Factory / General Assistant

Temporary Factory Assistant - Basildon, Essex

We are seeking a Temporary Factory Assistant to help out in the stores department for our successful client based in Basildon, Essex.

You would be providing general factory assistance to the team which will include the following duties:

• Applying protective packaging when needed to items
• Loading and off-loading deliveries
• Distributing materials and goods daily
• Ensuring effective and regular communication with supervisors
• General housekeeping duties
• Complete all mandatory health & safety training.
• Forklift licence is an advantage
• Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
• You would have excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and willing to work as part of a team.

*Please note: Due to the location of this client you would need to be a car owner and driver*

Job Type: Full Time, Temporary - 2/4 weeks

Days: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (42.5 hours a week)

Salary: £12.95ph
