Description

Temporary Finance Assistant:

• Process and reconcile financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks as required.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Respond to internal and external financial queries in a timely manner.
• Provide general administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department.

Profile

A successful Temporary Finance Assistant should have:

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
• Proficiency in financial software or systems.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the retail industry is advantageous.
