Temporary Finance Assistant Education Sector Experience Required

Grafton Banks Finance are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join a dynamic team in an educational environment, for a business based in East Sussex. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the financial and operational functions for the business, for a short-term temporary period.

Key responsibilities:

• Processing supplier invoices
• Authorising and processing payments
• Handing petty cash, including maintaining records
• Updating the Asset Register
• Maintaining financial records
• Overseeing financial administration
• Ad hoc support for financial projects

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in financial administration, ideally within an educational setting.
• Experience using bespoke Education-finance systems, such as Arbor.
• Available on immediate notice, to start in the early weeks of May.
• Ability to commute to East Sussex offices
