Temporary Finance Controller /Auditor - Immediate Start
Lewisham | £25/hr | Temp - 4 -6 Weeks | Fully Office-Based

One of my clients a well-established charity based in Lewisham that supports adults with learning disabilities are currently looking for an experienced Finance Controller/Auditor to join them on a short-term basis to help prepare for their annual audit.

This is a 4-week temporary role starting immediately and is fully office-based in the centre of Lewisham.

The role involves getting the organisation's financial records and systems ready for external audit. You'll be reviewing documentation, resolving any discrepancies, and helping to ensure everything is in order ahead of the audit process.

What you'll be doing:

• Reviewing and reconciling financial records and transactions
• Making sure all financial documentation is accurate, up to date, and ready for audit
• Identifying any compliance or control issues and helping resolve them
• Working closely with internal teams to gather any supporting information needed
• Preparing working papers and responding to auditor queries
• Suggesting improvements to financial processes where necessary

What we're looking for:

• Experience as a Finance Controller, Internal Auditor, or similar senior finance role
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, audits, and financial reporting
• Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Comfortable working independently and meeting tight deadlines
• Available to start immediately
