Temporary Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant | Liverpool | £40,000-45,000 | Temporary to permanent

We are working with a reputable and well recognised business based in Liverpool to recruit a Financial Accountant on a temp to perm basis.

As Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements
• Managing month end and year end close processes
• Assisting with statutory accounts preparation and liaising with auditors
• Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and internal controls
• Assisting with tax and VAT returns
• Driving improvements in financial processes and reporting

What are we looking for?

• Someone who is available immediately or on a short notice period
• Part / fully qualified or qualified by experience
• Strong technical financial accounting background
• Experience with reconciliations, VAT and audit are key
• Analytical mind set and attention to detail
• Able to work in a deadline driven environment
