Temporary Junior Accountant - Central London

Edward Mann is proud to partner with a dynamic technology business in the recruitment of an Interim Assistant Accountant. This temporary position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in transactional finance and some month-end experience who are eager to thrive in a vibrant Central London location.

Key Details:

• Contract Length: 6 months
• Rate: £19-20 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
• Location: Central London

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process journal entries and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Collaborate across the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial data.
• Handle ad hoc accounting tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Hands-on experience with journal processing.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Immediate availability or ability to start at short notice.
