Description

• Prepare and analyse financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
• VAT returns
• Prepayments and accruals
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
• Monitor and manage cost control measures across various departments.
• Reconcile balance sheets and ensure timely month-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Maintain up-to-date records of financial data and transactions.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal financial policies.

Profile

The successful Management Accountant should have:

• Proven experience in accounting or finance and ideally be working towards a financial qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• A thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Be available to start on short notice and commit to a temporary contract.
