Job Description - Temporary Senior Accounts Payable Clerk

Axon Moore are currently working with a leading and fast paced organisation in Leeds as they look to appoint a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk. Reporting into the Team Leader, you will work within a wider finance team supporting the day-to-day running of the Accounts Payable function.

Responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Accounts Payable Team leader
Mentoring a small team
Processing invoices
Ensuring the smooth running of payment runs
Statement reconciliations
Developing relationships with suppliers
Managing the payment of utilities
Bank payments
Overseeing the production of monthly statements

Personal profile:

Previous purchase ledger experience
Good working knowledge of excel
Strong organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
