Temporary Stock Controller - Luxury Brand

We are currently recruiting for a Stock Control Coordinator-a highly organised and detail-oriented individual responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and managing stock movement across all business locations. This pivotal role ensures the smooth flow of stock and supports a variety of sales channels, including retail, ecommerce, wholesale, and bespoke orders. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and courier partners to uphold operational efficiency and ensure timely order fulfilment.

JOB: Temporary Stock Control Coordinator - Luxury Brand

START DATE: Monday 7th July

DURATION: Week by week extension

PAY: £14p/h

LOCATION : West End

SHIFT: Monday - Friday - 09:00 - 18:00

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records across all stock locations.
• Ensure all stock movements are properly documented and aligned with company procedures.
• Monitor retail channels to ensure stock levels align with merchandising plans and availability.
• Coordinate and administrate stock transfers, ensuring full traceability from origin to destination.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to reconcile stock discrepancies and meet shipment deadlines.
• Lead and manage regular stock takes; report discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch ecommerce, wholesale, and bespoke orders within set time frames and according to brand and packaging guidelines.
• Generate and manage all necessary shipment paperwork for timely dispatch and delivery.
• Liaise with courier partners to resolve delivery issues and avoid service disruptions.
• Monitor stock levels of packaging and branded goods, ensuring reorders align with production timelines.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and ensure all dispatches are properly logged and archived.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in inventory or stock control, ideally within a multi-channel retail environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data management.
• Good understanding of inventory management systems and Excel.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with both internal teams and external partners.
• Experience managing shipments and working with courier systems.
