Test Engineer Air Traffic Management

4 days a week, but may require 5 days during peak

A market leading client of ours are currently looking to bring on a Test Engineer to support on a new air traffic communication project. You will be responsible for developing testing specifications based on project/product spec, design & architecture.

Your daily duties will include:

• Reviewing and analysing system requirements and solutions to their testability.
• Planning, specifying (scripts etc) and performing manual and/or automated tests.
• Performing integration, system and regression tests in complex system landscapes and documenting the results.
• Recording and analysing deviations.
• Executing system acceptance with customers (FAT, SAT etc )
• Reviews the specification regarding detail level and testability.
• Creation of the test cases and its corresponding test data.
• Preparation of Test Specification.
• Supports integration testing.
• Execution of the planned test cases.
• Retest of problem reports.
• Creation of new problem reports.

Experience & qualities they are looking for from you:

• Hands on experience in testing and verification of complex projects and product developments.
• Broad knowledge with integration projects in the IT area.
• Experience working on Safety/Mission critical Projects.
• Thrive on collaboration and are happy working as part of a team or independently.
• Experience working within an Air Traffic Management enviroment would be highly advantageous.
• Proactive and able to balance competing priorities.
• Solutions focussed on how you think and act.
• Goal orientated - delivery of milestones / budgets etc.
• Able to travel - both within UK, to Italy and to Vienna HQ.
