Test Lead/Manager - 9 Month Contract

The company is a law firm with offices in Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool. This role is a 9 month contract outside IR35. You will be looking after 6 testers who are moving across from a fee earning role on a secondment for 6 months. Your role will be a mix of hands on and leadership. There has been very little testing on their Proclaim system and they are looking for someone to go on board and lead the team to get everything up to scratch

Description

• Test Planning: Develop a comprehensive test plan, including unit/module, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) strategies.
• Test Case Development: Oversee the creation of test cases and test scripts that align with business requirements and system specifications.
• Test Environment Management: Ensure that test environments are properly configured and available for testing activities.
• Test Execution: Manage the execution of test cases, ensuring thorough testing across all system components.
• Defect Management: Track and manage defects identified during testing, working with developers and the project team to ensure timely resolution.
• Test Reporting: Provide regular reports on testing progress, including the number of test cases executed, passed, failed, and any defects found.

Profile

Must haves:

• Legal sector or Case Managment Experience
• Test Lead/Manager experience
