Job Description - Thermal Insulation Lagger

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Thermal Insulation Lagger to join a short-term commercial project in Braintree. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for full-faced lagging work on a commercial site, using a variety of insulation materials. Candidates must be capable of working independently, reading plans, and maintaining high safety standards on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installing insulation (phenolic, Kooltherm, Isover, etc.) on pipework and ducting
  • Removing and disposing of old insulation as needed
  • Performing repairs on damaged or deteriorated insulation
  • Working in accordance with health & safety procedures
  • Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Requirements:
  • Valid CSCS card (essential)
  • Proven experience as a Thermal Insulation Lagger
  • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces
  • Good knowledge of insulation materials and installation techniques
  • TICA accreditation (desirable but not essential)
