Tig and Mig Welder

Aspired talent are seeking a skilled MIG and TIG Welder to join our dynamic team on a Temporary - Permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the welding process.

Duties

Operate MIG and TIG welding equipment to fabricate metal components according to specifications.
Perform stick welding as required for specific projects.
Assemble and fit metal parts using hand tools and power tools.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements.
Conduct quality checks on welds to ensure they meet industry standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
Fabricate sheet metal components as necessary for various projects.
Utilise basic maths skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances accurately.

Requirements

Proven experience as a MIG and TIG Welder or in a similar role within the fabrication industry.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively.
Familiarity with welding techniques, including stick welding, MIG, TIG, and fabrication processes.
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
