TM1 Developer IBM Planning Analytics/Cognos

A global banking firm is seeking an experienced TM1 Developer to join its Finance Systems team. This role involves supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics) platform, used for financial planning and reporting across the business

TM1 Developer - Global Banking Firm
Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 remote)
Rate: £500-600 per day
Duration: 6 months, initially

Hiring for 3 positions

• Provide support for TM1: user management, troubleshooting, data load monitoring, and documentation.

• Develop and enhance TM1 models: build and maintain cubes, TI processes, rules, and feeders.

• Implement architectural and system changes to meet evolving business needs.

• Collaborate with Finance teams on budgeting, planning, and reporting initiatives.

• Assist with other finance systems and support wider change projects.

• Ensure compliance with IT governance and best practices.

• Banking experience

• 3-5 years of TM1 development experience.

• Strong knowledge of TM1 TI processes, rules, feeders.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

• Familiarity with IBM Planning Analytics (latest version), SQL, Power BI.

• Understanding of finance/reporting concepts, ideally in the banking/finance sector.

• Experience with OLAP tools and SDLC principles.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Proactive, well-organised, and accountable.

• Collaborative and team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
