Certain Advantage is excited to partner with a pioneering engineering organisation working at the cutting edge of Nuclear and Defence innovation. We’re looking for a highly creative and technically capable Design Engineer to join their expanding Energy & Infrastructure team. If you thrive on solving complex challenges, pushing the limits of design, and collaborating in fast-paced, future-focused environments—this one’s for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop engineering components and assemblies for high-impact projects
• Turn concept into reality using CAD (ideally Siemens NX) with high levels of accuracy and creativity
• Innovate across new products, methods, and solutions in demanding technical contexts
• Work closely with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration and manufacturability
• Confidently present design concepts and final outcomes to internal teams and clients

Your Background:

• Experience as a Design Engineer or similar role in highly regulated environments
• Advanced CAD skills – Siemens NX preferred
• A solid understanding of safety standards in engineering and manufacturing
• Passion for innovation and engineering progress
• A collaborative, adaptable mindset – you enjoy working in a high-performing team

During the Interview, We May Ask You About:

• Your experience with Siemens NX
• Previous work in highly regulated environments
