Trade Counter Assistant - Immediate Start

Role: Trade Counter Assistant

Location: St Albans

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30am to 5pm

Salary: £12.50 - £13.50 an hour, weekly pay

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Trade Counter Assistant to join a fast paced, busy client based in St Albans

Temporary to Permanent opportunity

Duties of a Trade Counter Assistant:

• Provide excellent customer service through enthusiasm and knowledge of our products
• Develop exceptional relationships face to face with customers as well as over the phone, and maintain these relationships.
• Stock control & ordering of goods
• Promoting products within the store
• Support face to face, telephone and email queries.
• Maintain a high standard of branch presentation and service
• Maintain professional standards of product knowledge
• Provide support to our customers looking to get the correct product.

What we would like from you:

• Proven experience within Trade Counter or similar environment
• Relationship building and customer service skills
• Background in Construction / Builders Merchants
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to upsell / sell products
• Friendly and team player
