Job Description - Trade Surveillance Equities - 6month FTC

Role: Trade Surveillance (Equities) - 6-Month FTC
Salary: £80K–£90K
Location: London & Hybrid

We’re partnering with a leading global capital markets institution looking to strengthen its Trade Surveillance function within Financial Markets. They’re looking for a key hire to support enhanced oversight across equities trading and communications monitoring on a short-term basis.

Key focus areas will include:

Trade and comms surveillance for equities trading
Investigating alerts and escalating potential market abuse
Performing surveillance deep-dives and thematic reviews
Working closely with compliance, front office, and risk functions
Supporting regulatory requests and internal audits

We’re looking for individuals who can offer:

Proven experience in trade surveillance and communications surveillance
Strong knowledge of equities markets and financial instruments
Background in banking or financial markets environments
Ability to start immediately or at short notice
