Trading System Developer

A Tier 1 Investment Bank is looking for an experienced C#/.NET developer on a 6 month initial contract to support and evolve the systems that sit at the heart of their Fixed Income and Repo trading workflows. The role focuses on building robust services that ensure accurate trade capture, enrichment and downstream integration into settlement, risk and wider back‑office platforms.

Resonsibilities

1. Developing and maintaining C# services that manage trade capture, validation and distribution.
2. Enhancing the Repo trading application, including workflow tools, reconciliations and platform connectivity.
3. Improving integration with back‑office, settlement and risk systems.
4. Working closely with trading, operations and technology teams to resolve workflow issues and shape functional improvements.
5. Troubleshooting production issues and contributing to long‑term architectural decisions.

Requirements

1. Strong C#/.NET development experience in Windows environments.
2. Understanding of Repo markets and Fixed Income trade lifecycle processes.
3. Experience with system integration, messaging and data transformation.
4. Strong debugging skills and the ability to work across front‑to‑back teams.
