Train Cleaner

Job Title: Train Cleaner
Job Location: Gillingham
Hours Per Week: Average 40 hours per week
Shifts: Sunday-Thursday, 8:00-16:00
Rates: £12.21 PAYE
Duration: Long Term

Position Summary:
The position is based on a busy Rail depot and all applicants would be expected to complete the following:
* Physical cleaning including the roof of the Trains and other exterior.
* Complete cleaning with various chemicals and cleaning liquids.
* Manual labour.
* Complete Bio-Cleans (disinfect toilets and buffet cars.)
* Work within a safety critical environment.
* Internally and externally clean trains
* Report any maintenance for fleets to go out into service at required standard
* Radio communication/ point of contact for team leaders
* Chemicals and procedure.
* Underframe cleaning
* Industrial carpet cleaning throughout fleet.
* Oxal cleaning (industrial acid clean) on exterior for Arrow Solutions promotion.
* Diversity training .
* Manual handling.
* Health and safety ( Zero attitude scheme).
* Chemical handling (COSHH regulations).

Ideal applicants would have had some cleaning or heavy industry experience however, this is not essential.
