The Role Start your teacher training journey on a salaried route, earning while you learn. From September 2025, you’ll work full-time in a supportive maths department, gradually taking on teaching responsibilities while completing your training towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You’ll gain hands-on experience across KS3 and KS4, supported by experienced mentors and a structured development plan.
The Candidate You’re a maths (or related subject) graduate with a 2:2 or above, strong A-Levels, and a clear drive to teach. You’re confident, organised, and ready to commit to a full-time, classroom-based training route. No prior school experience is needed—just subject strength and the determination to become a great teacher.
