Trainee Graphic Installer

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for a Junior Installer for the client based in Glasgow Govan area. This is long term, ongoing, temp to perm opportunity after 12 weeks of assignment.

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm (30min lunch break)

Pay rate:

• £12.30 per hour

Our client produces and installs many types of graphic materials in many different locations. From small posters and large signage, within shopping centres and visitors centres to exhibition stands around the UK. The trainee graphic installer will be assisting other members of our teams to carry out the installation works.

Some of the works will include fitting:

• Vinyl & wallpaper graphics, Flat panels, 3D signage, hanging banners, Light boxes and tension fabric systems, Exhibition stands

Scope of daily duties:

• Taking direction on work processes/procedures from senior team members.
• Ensuring site is kept clan , tidy and safe whilst working.
• Completing paperwork relating to working hours.
• Ensure all jobs collected are complete and wrapped ready to load.
• Ensuring Install checklist is completed and signed off by client , once works are complete.
• Keeping work van tidy and ensuring daily paperwork is up to date.

Required competencies:

• Keen to learn and be able to listen and take instruction.
• Be relatively fit as the job can be physically demanding.
• Good working with their hands.
• Prepared to work overtime, as and when required.
• Be comfortable travelling to/from sites within company van.
