Job Description - TRAINEE HGV2 CAT C DRIVER

TRAINEE HGV2 (CAT C) DRIVERS WANTED
Kickstart Your Driving Career with a Clear Path to Progression!

Location: Milton Keynes | Pay: £15.55–£19.67/hr | Shifts: 4 x 12hrs/week

Are you a newly qualified HGV2 driver with limited experience or confidence behind the wheel?
Ready to build your skills and earn big while doing it? This is your chance to grow with a company that invests in YOU.

?? How It Works – Your Roadmap to Success:

?? Phase 1: Learn the Ropes (7.5 Tonne, Double-Manned)

Drive alongside an experienced driver for 2–3 weeks
Learn routes, procedures, and customer service skills
Get hands-on experience in a supportive environment

?? Phase 2: Go Solo (7.5 Tonne, Independent Driving)

Take the wheel on your own for another 2–3 weeks
Build confidence and sharpen your skills

? Phase 3: Step Up to HGV2

Once you're ready, transition into a full HGV2 role
Drive modern vehicles and enjoy higher pay and responsibility

?? The Job:

Multi-drop deliveries (up to 5 drops/day)
Caged food ingredients to retail stores
Clean, well-maintained vehicles and great team support

?? Pay & Perks:

£15.55/hr rising to £19.67/hr
Paid 12 hours per shift – guaranteed
Overtime at time & a half
Annual Bonus + Pay Rise + Pension

?? Earnings Potential:

Weekly: £745–£940 (4 shifts) | Up to £1,290 with OT
Monthly: £2,980–£4,090 | Up to £5,600 with OT
Annually: £35K–£49K | Up to £67K with OT

? What You’ll Need:

Valid Cat C (HGV2) licence, CPC & Digi Card
Held licence for at least 6 months
Fewer than 3 points on your licence
A great attitude and willingness to learn
Flexibility to work any 4 shifts/week (including weekends)
