Position: Trainee Teaching Assistant
Location: Harrow
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only

The Role:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Assist students with their learning, providing 1:1 and small group support.
• Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work with children with a range of learning needs, including SEN support.
• Prepare learning materials and resources under the direction of the teacher.
• Supervise pupils during break and lunchtime as needed.

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for education and supporting children’s development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic, patient, and proactive attitude.
• Some experience working with children (voluntary or paid) is desirable but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and undertake relevant training.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
