Transactional Finance Manager

iMultiply are working in partnership with an exciting company in Edinburgh looking for a skilled Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manager to support the team on a 6 - month fixed term contract, starting immediately, with potential of this being extended for the right individual.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to make a meaningful impact, drive improvements, and lead a talented team in a dynamic environment.

You’ll play a key role in identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, and process improvement, collaborating with internal teams. Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive a high-performing team culture are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead, mentor, and develop a team, ensuring their professional growth and cross-functional collaboration.

· Establish and maintain strong financial controls across AP & AR functions.

· Foster a positive team culture, promoting engagement, recognising achievements, and encouraging open communication.

· Continuously review and refine processes to enhance efficiency and risk management.

· Oversee supplier payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

· Manage client billing, debt collection, and credit risk while driving efficiencies within the billing system.

· Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.

· Ensure compliance with SLAs and maintain reconciliations for debtor and creditor accounts.

· Manage corporate card expenses, ensuring timely submissions.

· Contribute to finance transformation projects and system enhancements.

· Collaborate with wider Finance teams to deliver valuable insights and reporting.

Experience Required:

· 5+ years of experience in AP or AR functions.

· Proven experience leading and managing teams with a track record of success.

· Highly organised with excellent time management skills.

· A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think strategically.

· Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
