Transactional Finance Manager - 6 month FTC

Location: Central London

Hybrid: 3 days in office

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transactional Finance Manager to join a fast-growing, international retail brand on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role will play a key part in managing the accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring the accuracy of monthly and yearly accounts.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead a team of three and be responsible for:

• Managing the transactional finance team, overseeing AP & AR functions.
• Developing and providing monthly reporting on expenses, aged receivables, and overdue payables.
• Supporting cash flow forecasting, focusing on actual cash flows and projected outflows.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and strengthening financial controls.
• Assisting with the implementation of an ERP upgrade (Microsoft Dynamics).

• Strong experience managing a team within a transactional finance function.
• Expertise in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Confident handling large datasets and multiple cost centers.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and a proactive approach.
• A self-motivated communicator with a curious and analytical mindset.

• Multi-site experience (retail, hospitality, or similar preferred).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central.
• Audit background or experience is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Accounting qualifications preferred but not essential.
