?? Now Hiring: Transcriptionist / Minute Taker – UK’s Largest Railway Franchise

We’re recruiting on behalf of the UK’s largest railway franchise for a Transcriptionist / Minute Taker to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative and audio typing skills to contribute to a fast-paced and high-profile environment.

??? Role Overview:

• Start Date: Immediate
• Contract Type: Temporary (until end of September with opportunity to be extended until the end of the year)
• Location: Office-based in London (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm)
• Flexibility: Potential for hybrid working after initial training
• Pay Rate: Up to £18 per hour + holiday pay

?? Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately transcribe audio recordings and live spoken content into written documents
• Take verbatim minutes during meetings, some of which may be used in legal or disciplinary proceedings
• Perform general administrative duties to support the wider team

? Requirements:

• Proven experience in minute-taking and transcription, particularly verbatim
• Confidence in converting spoken dialogue from both face-to-face and audio meetings into clear, accurate written text
• High attention to detail and discretion due to the sensitive nature of the content
