Salary: From £13.00 Depending on Experience

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Transfer Printing Operator to join our clients production team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in screen printing operations, particularly using flat bed screen printers. The successful candidate will operate and maintain the H G Kippax & Sons Semi-Large Automatic Flat Bed Screen Printer, ensuring that all transfer prints meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the Kippax Semi-Automatic Flat Bed Screen Printer with precision and care.
• Set up screens, substrates, squeegees, inks, and related materials according to detailed job specifications.
• Perform test prints and make adjustments to ensure accurate alignment, registration, and print quality.
• Monitor the printing process for colour consistency, image clarity, and minimal material waste.
• Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of the printer to ensure optimal operation.
• Identify and troubleshoot printing and mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of job runs, production data, and quality control checks.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols, including the use of PPE and correct chemical handling procedures.

About You:

• Experience in screen printing or similar production environments (experience with Kippax machinery is a strong advantage).
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with physical tasks and repetitive procedures.
