Transformation Project Managers - Local Authority

My client in Greater London is looking to appoint talented Transformation Project Managers on a Contract basis.

The roles will help and support the team's Programme Director and Programme Manager, leading on the practical delivery of the Council's new operating model through its cross-functional service review, redesign, and rollout workstreams.

About the role:

Based in Great London (Hybrid - 2-3 days on site):

• The Transformation Team's Project Managers will play pivotal roles for the Council to be high-performing and resident focused.
• You will ensure that this work leads to impactful results, sustained delivery and an operating model that is fit for purpose.
• You will be operationally experienced and financially focused as a project manager.
• These roles will require a relentless emphasis on driving the transformation team and the organisation to achieve continuous improvement leading to transformation in ways of working.

About you:

You will have the following skillsets or experiences:

• Extensive experience in Project Management, in a Local Authority context.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams and manage workstreams work, using a structured, data-driven approach to set programme direction.
• Able to align strategy with operations and comfortable 'rolling your sleeves up' to achieve deliverables.
• Proven change management and improvement experience within local government and/or consultancy with sound knowledge of quality and improvement approaches such as design thinking, process improvement and systems thinking.

What's on offer:

• Salary: £400-£500 per day Inside IR35

*negotiable based on experience
