Transport Administrator
Eye, Suffolk
Pay is dependent on experience
8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Temporary with potential for a permanent opportunity

We are currently seeking a Transport Administrator to join our client's team on a temporary full time basis, providing essential support during a busy period.

Although this role is initially temporary, there may be an opportunity for it to become permanent for the right candidate.

Duties include:

Providing general administrative support to the office and transport teams
Responding to customer and transport-related enquiries via phone and email professionally
Processing and tracking orders accurately using internal systems
Coordinating transport schedules, route planning, and shipment tracking
Liaising with couriers, haulage companies, and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics
Maintaining and updating delivery and collection records using Excel
Ensuring accurate documentation and organised filing of transport records
Resolving delivery issues in collaboration with relevant departments

What we're looking for:

Ideally, you'll bring a mix of the following skills and experience:

Strong administrative skills with experience in transport or logistics
Experience using Microsoft Office
A confident and friendly approach to customer service
Some knowledge of transport/logistics (preferred)
