Job Description - TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATOR - GATEHOUSE CONTROLLER DAYS

?? Gatehouse Administrator – Join Our Dynamic Logistics Team! ??
?? Location: Tamworth
?? Contract Type: Full-time
?? Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off
?? Salary: £26,666.64 per annum DAYS
? Holiday: 23.5 days annual leave
?? Shift Details:

Days Fixed: 6am–6pm (1hrs Lunch)
Fixed pattern (3 on/3 off)

??? Key Responsibilities:
Gatehouse Duties:

Manage trailer movements using our Yard Management System
Coordinate with drivers, shunters, warehouse staff, and the transport office
Maintain clear radio communication and accurate system updates

Transport Admin Duties:

Despatch and debrief drivers using internal IT systems
Prepare driver boxes and resolve transport-related issues
Liaise with on-site, customer service, and planning teams

? What We’re Looking For:

Previous admin experience (essential)
Transport or logistics background (preferred)
Security experience (a bonus for gatehouse roles)
Confident using Microsoft Office and transport applications
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
A proactive, reliable work ethic
