Job Description - Transport Planner

Transport Planner – £32,000 per annum
Location: HU9 5QE
Hours: 9am – 5pm
Contract Type: Temp to Perm

We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our clients logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced planner and contribute to the smooth operation of our clients transport activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and schedule loads efficiently
  • Input and manage data using a control matrix
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting
  • Work closely with the existing planning team to meet operational targets
Skills & Requirements:
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the UK
  • Confident and proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with data input systems and control sheets
  • Flexible approach to working hours (core hours 9am–5pm)
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
