Job Description - Transport Planner

Traffic Planner

Stoke on Trent ST1

Temp to perm vacancy

Key role and responsibilities for Traffic Planner
  • Daily route planning
  • Booking deliveries
  • Debriefing drivers on return
  • Communicating with clients over the phone and email
  • Actioning any defects
  • Ensuring vehicles are running to capacity and reducing empty running

Minimum requirements for Traffic Planner
  • Knowledge of compliance within the transport industry
  • Experience in planning multiple delivery schedules
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to build positive working relations with customers, suppliers and colleagues
  • Can do attitude

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday
12:00pm - 21:00pm ( Until everything is finished this could be 19:30pm up to 21:30pm)

Salary: £24,960.00 - £29,640.00 per year depending on experience

This job is commutable from the following areas Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, Hanley, Longton, Burslem, Tunstall, Fenton, Trentham and surrounding areas.
