Transport Planner

Main Responsibilities:

• Organising and managing day-to-day transport operations for general haulage, groupage, and pallet network deliveries

• Overseeing a team of drivers and ensuring full adherence to transport regulations

• Communicating with both customers and drivers to deliver a prompt and reliable service

• Tracking workloads, vehicle usage, and optimising routes

• Operating transport management systems and keeping precise records

• Ensuring all activities comply with Working Time Directive and driver hours legislation

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience within the transport sector

• Solid experience in general haulage, groupage, and pallet network operations

• In-depth understanding of transport compliance and WTD regulations

• Strong IT proficiency and excellent communication abilities

• Background in driver supervision and the ability to handle challenges calmly and effectively
