Transport Safety Analyst

Position: Transport Safety Analyst

Salary: £15.38 p/h

Contract: Temporary – ASAP for 3 months (high potential to be extended or go perm)

Location: Leamington Spa (Warwick side)

Working Shifts: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week, 8.30-5.00pm- office based to start then depending on the nature of the project, can offer hybrid (3 in office, 2 at home)

Our client is looking for a temporary Transport Safety Analyst for a new software and safety process they are piloting. Dependant on the development of the project will determine whether this job is made into a permanent job.

Analyst duties include:

• Monitor the Transport Safety dashboard for any unusual/unsafe activities of company vehicles
• Investigate safety matters that need urgent attention
• Analyse Data from an internal database
• Report safety issues with relevant managers so they can escalate it to the drivers
• Abide to GDPR with sensitive data

Analyst person specification:

Essential-

• Confident with analysing data everyday
• Analytical
• Have an understanding of vehicle telematics and AI
• Must be patient – some days will be quiet while others will be busy during the pilot period
• Respect staff privacy in a mature manner
• Ideally will be forward thinking/suggest business improvement ideas on how to streamline this job
• Ideally Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of dashboards & Power BI

This would suit someone who is task driven, self sufficient and happy to work on own and within a data driven role
