Transport System Support Analyst

A Transport System Support Analyst is required for our client based in Manchester for an initial 3-month contract. This is a hybrid position with approx. 2 days per week on site (potential flexibility for candidates further afield).

Our client has implemented a new booking system, they require the postholder to manage the system, going through logs and handling complaints. You will also be required to give extra support for the influx of data, therefore someone with good with excel, and SQL is highly beneficial (not mandatory).

Duties

• Investigation and monitoring of complaints relating to the booking, scheduling and dispatch system used for the provision of Local Link and Ring and Ride (demand responsive transport) services.
• Ensure system meets the needs of all services.
• Understand and manage any system changes necessary to support the delivery of services, including agreed change control processes.
• Provide technical guidance to influence service and policy reviews such as the Schools Transport and Accessible Transport Review and Mobility as a service (Maas).

Experience

• Transport experience is highly advantageous, specifically “demand responsive transport”. Operational or logistics experience would also be considered.
• Experience supporting booking systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

SQL is highly beneficial (not mandatory)
