Job Description - Travel Manager/ Team Assistant

The Travel Manager will oversee all aspects of corporate travel within the financial services sector, ensuring smooth and cost-effective arrangements for the organisation. Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the company's travel policies and budgetary guidelines.
  • Negotiate with travel vendors to secure competitive rates and favourable terms.
  • Monitor travel expenses and provide detailed reports to senior management.
  • Provide support to employees for visa applications and travel documentation.
  • Handle last-minute changes and resolve any travel-related issues efficiently.
  • Maintain a database of preferred suppliers and review their performance periodically.
  • Stay updated on travel regulations and industry trends relevant to the financial services sector.

Profile

A successful Travel/ Manager Team Assistant should have:

  • Proven experience in corporate travel management, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills to handle a fast-paced workload.
  • Knowledge of travel booking systems and vendor negotiation techniques.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and travel regulations.
