Treasury Accountant

We're seeking a part-qualified Treasury Accountant to manage and analyse our financial activities within the Accounting & Finance department. The role focuses on ensuring accurate financial reporting and enabling effective treasury management.

Description

• Monitor daily cash operations, manage cash flow, and prepare cash forecasts.
• Implement and maintain treasury policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Work closely with the Accounting & Finance team to optimise financial processes.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Preparing Treasury Management Accounts.
• Prepare regular financial reports for senior management.
• Coordinate with external auditors to carry out audits.
• Manage relationships with financial service providers.
• Conduct risk management activities to protect the organisation's financial wellbeing.
• Support in the development of the company's financial strategy.

Profile

A successful 'Treasury Accountant' should have:

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in treasury software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
