Treasury Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Treasury Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic Treasury Operations
department. Our department handles a wide range of vanilla money market and FX deals, in addition to managing a
growing fixed income (securities) portfolio, including REPOS and FX/interest rate swaps.

Main Responsibilities:
• Oversee the end-to-end processing and cycles for interest rate swaps with Centralised
Clearing.
• Ensure comprehensive understanding and application of Risk-Free Rates (RFR) in all
relevant operations.
• Perform nostro reconciliations with precision and accuracy.
• Collaborate effectively within a team to manage the challenges associated with operations
in a small bank.
• Process bank-to-bank foreign exchange payments.
• Execute payments for Egyptian banks with current accounts.
• Process fixed income trades via Swift MT541 and MT543 messages to our custodian.
• Administer daily mark-to-market valuation of derivatives, including margin calls.
• Review daily deal maturities to ensure trades are correctly extended or repaid.
• Reconcile nostro and custodian accounts with precision and accuracy.
• Process charges related to nostro, custodian, brokerage, and repository services.
• Monitor transactions for compliance.
• Stay proactive regarding anti-money laundering, compliance, and regulatory

Responsibilities.
• Demonstrate strong people management skills and the ability to lead a team.
• Show readiness to take on a leadership role within the team within 1-2 years.

Experience & Skills required:
• Proven experience in treasury operations, particularly with derivatives and clearing
processes.
• In-depth knowledge of RFR and its practical applications.
• Experience and Knowledge of OPICS for treasury operations is preferable.
• Proficiency in using OPICS for treasury management.
• Strong skills in reconciliation.
• Experience working in a bank of similar size, with an understanding of the unique
operational challenges.
• Excellent people management skills and leadership potential.
• Technically competent in Microsoft especially Excel.
