Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Delivering engaging and structured English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

• Supporting the development and delivery of curriculum content across reading, writing, and spoken English

• Creating a classroom atmosphere that promotes discussion, creativity, and confidence

• Managing classroom behaviour to maintain a calm, respectful learning environment

• Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of a diverse student cohort

• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback

• Participating in ongoing training, including safeguarding and subject-specific CPD

What We're Looking For:

• A degree in English, English Literature, Creative Writing, or a related subject

• A genuine passion for teaching and working with young people

• Excellent communication skills and classroom presence

• Patience, adaptability, and a proactive attitude toward student development

• An interest in progressing into teacher training pathways (PGCE, SCITT, QTS Apprenticeships)

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
