Unqualified Neurodiversity Teaching Assistant

Are you a graduate looking for an exciting new opportunity and have a passion for SEN?

It's estimated that 15%-20% of children and young people in the UK are neurodivergent. Neurodiversity comes in all different forms, and it is important that children are supported in whichever works best for them, in order to thrive within education!

Are you looking for a career that is both rewarding and motivating?

This vibrant, fun-filled, caring and supportive school where the development, happiness and well-being of our pupils are at the heart of everything they do, are looking for compassionate individuals to provide support for pupils with various Special Educational & Emotional Needs or those requiring additional guidance. This role will begin in September 2025 as a full-time role across EYFS, KS1, KS2.

You will be working alongside a compassionate team, who are dedicated to getting it right for each pupil!

The ideal candidate for this Unqualified Neurodiversity Teaching Assistant would be a graduate searching for the perfect role to start their career in education, or an individual passionate about SEN who is looking to work with the best specialist staff and equipment.

Unqualified Neurodiversity Teaching Assistant Job Description

  • Teaching Assistant providing SEN Support
  • Starting in September 2025
  • £105 - £115 per day
  • Full-time, full academic year, term-time only.
  • Based in Wandsworth

About the Unqualified Neurodiversity Teaching Assistant

  • Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 with SEN & behavioural requirements
  • Use your initiative to provide support to various children
  • Strong inclusion team to support you

Ideal Unqualified Neurodiversity Teaching Assistant

  • A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for all pupils to flourish within
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Creative, confident and caring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion in supporting those with Special Educational Needs
