Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Delivering engaging and well-structured Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils

• Supporting the planning and delivery of curriculum content across all science disciplines

• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning

• Managing behaviour effectively to support a calm and focused setting

• Adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities

• Contributing to student progress through marking, feedback, and informal assessment

• Participating in ongoing training, including safeguarding and subject-specific development

What We're Looking For:

• A degree in a Science-related subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science)

• A genuine interest in education and working with young people

• Strong communication and classroom presence

• Patience, resilience, and the drive to support learners in achieving their best

• A willingness to develop professionally and potentially move into teacher training pathways such as PGCE, SCITT, or QTS Apprenticeships

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
